Basic nitroparaffins chemistries produced by Advancion have a long history of use in a variety of industrial applications. They can provide both performance and economic benefits to solvent producers, formulators and end users of electrostatic spray, lacquer thinners, brake cleaners and industrial cleaners. Our portfolio of high-performance, non-HAPs solvents and solvent blends offers a unique balance of Hansen solubility parameter values. These solvents also have very low MIR values (maximum incremental reactivity) particularly desired for VOC calculations in aerosol applications.
Advancion specialty solvents can also help address formulators’ unique solubility needs, while improving the environmental profile of end products and manufacturing operations when compared to n-butyl acetate, methyl isobutyl ketone (MIBK), xylene, toluene and other industrial solvents. They can also optimize formulators’ ability to blend with other solvents to improve compatibility.
